Vincent Wong

CEO / Co-Founder
Mr. Wong is an entrepreneur and investor with 30 years’ experience building and managing startup enterprises in the technology sector.

His core competency over the last 20 years has been the monetization of digital assets, including running a profitable Internet company with multinational clients and Fortune 1000 partners.

His career has spanned a wide range of executive-level positions in business development, marketing, information technology, strategy, and corporate development.

He graduated from the University of British Columbia and holds an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics.

Mark Dostie

Chief Technical Officer
Mark Dostie is a technology executive with 35+ years experience in advanced software engineering, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. Mr. Dostie has previously served as a director of Macdonald Dettwiler and Associates, founder of several start-ups, and multiple positions as chief technology officer including CTO of a predictive intelligence company. He holds several pioneering patents in  Large Language Model architectures and Predictive Text technologies.

In recent years, he has led R&D initiatives in the fintech sector involving block chain, encryption and deep learning AI applied to time-sensitive financial information including working within legal frameworks for banking regulations, KYC and ML detection.

Matthew Housser

Executive Vice President
Mr. Housser is the co-founder and CEO of Convergence, a software agency focused on the healthcare, fintech, and real estate industry verticals.

Since completing his BSc in Computing Science at Simon Fraser University, he joined Western Union's Business Solutions division (now Convera) as a software architect, and designed various mission critical, financial systems and regulatory controls.

He has co-founded multiple startups and developed software that received a US patent.

Anthony Carfang

Board Adviser – U.S. Strategy
Mr. Carfang is Managing Director of The Carfang Group and has a distinguished background in consulting, writing, speaking, thought leadership and advocacy in the area of banking, treasury management, payments, and liquidity. He was founder of the Treasury Strategies consultancy which later merged with Novantas, Inc.

Mr. Carfang has presented white papers and consultation commentary on behalf of clients to the US Federal Reserve and US Treasury Dept., the Bank of England, the European Commission and the European Central Bank. He has also testified extensively in the U.S. House and Senate on financial issues including Dodd-Frank, and the impact of regulation on job creation.

Eric Helgeland

Director – Banking Partnerships
Mr. Helgeland is a commercial banking and marketing executive with 40+ years of experience as an operational, growth marketing, strategy, and M&A professional.

Within financial services he has held senior executive positions in treasury management and payments, consumer banking, consumer finance, and money services businesses at JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America, HSBC, and SpeedyCash.

As a financial services consultant and advisor, he has served 12 of top 20 US banks, numerous regional banks, investment banks, bank processors, government agencies, and corporate clients.  

He is currently an operating partner of El Toro Capital and the co-founder of 2 neobank startups.

Howard Louie

Co-founder, Principal Shareholder
For over thirty years, Mr. Louie has served as a founder, director or C-Level executive in a wide variety of private and public companies.

Experienced in international business development and in the capital markets (primarily at the executive management level), he has been involved in the process of structuring/restructuring and advising both private and public companies through domestic and cross border mergers and acquisitions, and has successfully concluded multiple joint ventures and exits between micro-caps and multinationals.

Historically, Mr. Louie’s primary areas of focus have been business development, early/intermediate-stage venture capital and institutional investment financing.
